DTC P0223 [L3] DETECTION CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No. 2 circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the input voltage from TP sensor No. 2 when the engine is running. If the input voltage is above 4.85 V,
the PCM determines that the TP sensor No. 2 circuit input voltage is high.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2/Mode12) is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL
- TP sensor No. 2 malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal D and PCM terminal 2AP
- PCM malfunction
