Gear Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the battery and battery tray. Removal and Replacement

3. Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2. Aerodynamic Under Cover No.2 Removal/Installation

4. Drain the oil from the transaxle. Transaxle Oil Replacement - G66M-R

5. Disconnect the neutral switch connector and remove the neutral switch.






6. Install the neutral switch (with a new gasket) to the transaxle case.

Tightening torque
- 20-29 Nm {2.0-2.9 kgf-m, 15-21 ft-lbf}

7. Install the battery and battery tray. Removal and Replacement

8. Add the specified amount and type of oil. Transaxle Oil Replacement - G66M-R

9. Install the aerodynamic under cover No.2. Aerodynamic Under Cover No.2 Removal/Installation
