Description, Detection Condition, Possible Cause

DTC U3003:16  BSM control module power supply voltage decreases (less than 9 V  )
DTC U3003:17  BSM control module power supply voltage increases (more than 16 V  )
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • BSM control module power supply voltage is not within 9-16 V  .
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Fuse malfunction
  • Battery malfunction
  • Generator malfunction
  • Connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between battery positive terminal and relay block terminal 1A
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between battery positive terminal and relay block terminal 1A
  • Relay block malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between relay block terminal 1B and BCM terminal 4A
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between relay block terminal 1B and BCM terminal 4A
  • BCM malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between BCM terminal 7O and BSM control module (LH/RH) terminal B
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between BCM terminal 7O and BSM control module (LH/RH) terminal B
  • BSM control module (LH/RH) malfunction
