Pcm Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6] .)
Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6] )
Remove all connectors and clips which may interfere with servicing.
Loosen the PCM bracket nuts.

Remove the PCM from the PCM bracket.

Remove the PCM bracket.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
When replacing the PCM on the vehicles, perform the following:
- PCM configuration (See PCM CONFIGURATION .)
- Immobilizer system component replacement/key addition and clearing (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM] .) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM] .)
