- The connectivity master unit cannot receive CAN signal from the tuner and amp unit for 5 s or more

- The connectivity master unit cannot receive CAN signal from the CD player for 5 s or more

| Possible cause |
- Connectivity master unit connector or terminal malfunction
- Tuner and amp unit connector or terminal malfunction
- CD player connector or terminal malfunction
- Connector C-36 connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Connectivity master unit terminal 21 and tuner and amp unit terminal 2O
- Connectivity master unit terminal 21 and CD player terminal G
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Connectivity master unit terminal 2J and tuner and amp unit terminal 2Q
- Connectivity master unit terminal 2J and CD player terminal H
- Short circuit in the following wiring harnesses:
- Connectivity master unit terminal 21 and tuner and amp unit terminal 2O
- Connectivity master unit terminal 2J and tuner and amp unit terminal 2Q
- Connectivity master unit terminal 21 and CD player terminal G
- Connectivity master unit terminal 2J and CD player terminal H
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Tuner and amp unit terminal 20 and connector C-36
- Tuner and amp unit terminal 2Q and connector C-36
- CD player terminal G and connector C-36
- CD player terminal H and connector C-36
- Connectivity master unit terminal 21 and connector C-36
- Connectivity master unit terminal 2J and connector C-36
- CD player malfunction
- Tuner and amp unit malfunction
- Connectivity master unit malfunction

CAUTION:
- When disconnecting the connector, verify that there is no looseness, damage, deformation, corrosion, or poor connection of the connector terminals.
