SAS Control Module Connector Cover Removal/Installation [Two-Step Deployment Control System]: Installation

Install the SAS control module connector cover to the SAS control module connector.

Connect the SAS control module connectors.

Install the SAS control module.
Install the nuts.
Install the bracket.
Install the bolts.
Install the following parts:
1. Parking brake lever. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (See UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)

Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
Verify that the air bag/front seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light turns on for approx. 6 s and turns off.
- If the air bag/front seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light does not operate properly, refer to the on-board diagnostic system and inspect the system. (See FLOWCHART [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
