Knock Sensor (KS) Removal/Installation: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the plug hole plate. (Refer to PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Disconnect the KS connector.
- Remove the KS. (Refer to KS INSTALLATION NOTE (SKYACTIV-G 2.0) .) (Refer to KS INSTALLATION NOTE (SKYACTIV-G 2.5) .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
