ECT Sensor No. 1

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
  3. Disconnect the ECT sensor No. 1 connector.
  4. Remove the ECT sensor No. 1 using the SST  .

  5. Install the ECT sensor No. 1 using the SST  .

  6. Connect the ECT sensor No. 1 connector.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  8. Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
