DTC U3000-54; Radar Performance Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Radar performance malfunction
Detection condition
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module detected malfunction in misalignment.
Fail-safe
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) system is stopped.
Possible cause
  • Rear bumper soiling or foreign material (reflective object) is adhered.
  • Dirt or foreign material (reflective object) on blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module.
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) radar test was not performed.
  • Deviation of blind spot monitoring (BSM) radar sensor axis
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module malfunction
