Determination conditions |
- The difference between the actual engine speed and the target engine speed is 100 rpm or more.

| Preconditions |
- Engine speed: 500 rpm or more*1
- Engine coolant temperature: -10-45 °C {14-113 °F}*1
- Catalytic converter estimated temperature: 380 °C {716 °F} or less*1
- Vehicle speed: 0 km/h {0 mph}*1
- The following DTCs are not detected:
- ECT sensor malfunction: P0116:00, P0117:00, P0118:00
- MAP sensor malfunction: P0069:00, P0107:00, P0108:00
- BARO sensor malfunction: P2226:00, P2228:00, P2229:00
- Instrument cluster malfunction: P2610:00
