PID/DATA Monitor Inspection
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Display PIDs ENG_CL_V_POS and ENG_CL_V_POS_R using the M-MDS.(See On-board Diagnostic Test .) --> (See PCM Inspection .)
- When the engine is started after switching the ignition ON (engine off), verify that the PID ENG_CL_V_POS_R value conforms to the PID ENG_CL_V_POS value.
- If not as verified, replace the coolant control valve (See Coolant Control Valve Removal/Installation .)
