DTC B00A0:54 SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION Perform the calibration for the occupant classification sensor using the M-MDS. (See OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC (SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)) .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION (SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)) .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Perform the occupant classification sensor calibration, then go to the next step. (See OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC (SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)) .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION (SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)) .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the occupant classification sensor. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
