SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT: 21, DTC: B13D4:00/P1260:00 (START STOP UNIT) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED REMOTE TRANSMITTER Display PID NUM_TRNSMIT using the MMDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is the number of programmed remote transmitters less than 2?	Yes	Perform the additional remote transmitter programming, then go to the next step. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the start stop unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT] .) Retrieve the start stop unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is the security indicator light: 21, DTC B13D4:00/P1260:00 displayed?	Yes	Replace the start stop unit, then go to the next step. (See START STOP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [START STOP UNIT] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
