DTC B1B42:14 (PARKING SENSOR CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The parking sensor control module detected a front ultrasonic sensor (LH) circuit malfunction with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Front bumper external appearance damage or incorrect front bumper installation Abnormal front bumper installation angle Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) malfunction Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) connector or terminal malfunction Parking sensor control module connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) terminal A-Parking sensor control module terminal J Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) terminal B-Parking sensor control module terminal K Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals: Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) terminal A-Parking sensor control module terminal J Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) terminal B-Parking sensor control module terminal K Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) terminal A-Parking sensor control module terminal J Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) terminal B-Parking sensor control module terminal K Parking sensor control module malfunction
