DTC B0001:55/B0010:55 - SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (AS-BUILT DATA USE) Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	INSPECT AIR BAG MODULE INSTALLATION CONDITION Verify that the driver or passenger-side air bag module is correctly installed. Is the driver or passenger-side air bag module correctly installed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Correctly install the driver or passenger-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (See PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Then go to the next step.
3	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
