DTC P1886:00 (ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY PCM DTC Using the M-MDS, perform the PCM DTC inspection. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE .) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT THE AWD CONTROL MODULE Is correct AWD control module installed?	Yes	Replace the AWD control module, then go to the next step. (See AWD CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	COUPLING COMPONENT CALIBRATION DATA WRITING Write the coupling component calibration data. (See COUPLING COMPONENT CALIBRATION DATA WRITING .)		Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the AWD control module. (See CLEARING DTC [ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Using the M-MDS, perform the AWD control module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the AWD control module. (See AWD CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
5	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
