DTC B1D00-13: Headlight (LH) Circuit Malfunction [Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module]: Notes

DTC B1 D00:13 (ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Headlight (LH) circuit malfunction
DETECTION CONDITION	The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module detected an open circuit in the headlight (LH) circuit during the headlight LO on control with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	Control of the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) is continued. Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued.
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the electrical supply unit (ESU). Headlight LO (LH) circuit malfunction Front combination light (LH) connector or terminal malfunction Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module terminal J- Front combination light (LH) terminal M Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module terminal J- Front combination light (LH) terminal M Front combination light (LH) malfunction Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module malfunction
