DTC U0420-68: Error Signal Received From Electric Power Steering (EPS) Control Module: Notes

DTC U0420:68 (BLIND SPOT MONITORING CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Error signal received from electric power steering (EPS) control module
Detection condition	Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) receives the error signal from the electric power steering (EPS) control module for 5 s or more.
Fail-safe	Blind spot monitoring (BSM) system is stopped.
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the electric power steering (EPS) control module. DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster. Electric power steering (EPS) control module malfunction Instrument cluster malfunction Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) malfunction
