Coupling Component Temperature Sensor Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Disconnect the AWD solenoid connector.
  3. Measure resistance between AWD solenoid terminals C and D.

    • If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the coupling component. (See COUPLING COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)

      Resistance (kil ohm) 

      6.085-6.961 kilohms (Temperature at 20°C {68°F})
