With Parking Assist Unit (Optical): Outline

DTC B14F7:55 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE - WITH PARKING ASSIST UNIT (OPTICAL)

System malfunction location Body control module (BCM) configuration not performed
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the parking assist unit (optical) received a signal which indicates the body control module (BCM) configuration was not performed for 10 s.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause
  • Malfunction in CAN communication line between body control module (BCM) and parking assist unit (optical)
  • Inappropriate parking assist unit (optical) replacement procedure
  • Configuration data of body control module (BCM) and parking assist unit (optical) is not matched
    • Body control module (BCM) configuration data write error
      • Configuration not completed after parking assist unit (optical) replacement
  • Parking assist unit (optical) malfunction
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
