DTC U0422:86 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Check sum error received from body control module (BCM)
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the vehicle control module (VCM) received a check sum error from the body control module (BCM) for 10 s.
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause	Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
