DTC U2036:57 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the driver monitoring camera unit received invalid calibration data from the vehicle control module (VCM) for 10 s.

| Possible cause |
NOTE:
- Depending on the module, after the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) or OFF, there is a module that needs 30 s to correctly write the calibration data and configuration data.
- Calibration error
- The vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) stores DTCs.
- Vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) communication error or internal malfunction
- DTCs are stored in the driver monitoring camera unit.
- CAN circuit communication error between vehicle control module (VCM) and driver monitoring camera unit
- Driver monitoring camera unit malfunction
- Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
