DTC U0401:86 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Check sum error received from PCM
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the vehicle control module (VCM) received a check sum error from the PCM for 10 s.

Possible cause	PCM malfunction Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) Body control module (BCM) malfunction Gateway function malfunction
