DTC U2030-41: Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) Calibration Data Check Sum Error [Vehicle Control Module]: Outline
DTC U2030:41 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE
| System malfunction location |
Forward sensing camera (FSC) calibration data check sum error |
| Detection condition |
- The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the forward sensing camera (FSC) detected that there is a check sum error in the calibration data received from the vehicle control module (VCM) for 10 s.
|
| Fail-safe |
(See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .) |
| Possible cause |
NOTE:
- Depending on the module, after the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) or OFF, there is a module that needs 30 s to correctly write the calibration data and configuration data.
- Calibration error
- The vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) stores DTCs.
- Vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) communication error or internal malfunction
- DTCs are stored in the forward sensing camera (FSC).
- CAN circuit communication error between vehicle control module (VCM) and forward sensing camera (FSC)
- Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
- Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module
(BCM))
