Function Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)
- The engine coolant control valve position sensor diagnoses the internal condition of the engine coolant control valve.
- The PCM receives the error signal from the engine coolant control valve position sensor, determines an internal malfunction of the engine coolant control valve, and stores the DTC.
