Console Side Panel Removal/Installation: Installation

  1. While inserting the console side panel rib into the clearance between the front console and the front console box, press in the console side panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure while fitting it to the front console box.

  2. Align the installation positions of the clips and hooks, and install the console side panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

  3. Install the following parts:
    1. Shift panel (Refer to SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Selector lever knob (Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Upper panel (Refer to UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Shift bezel (Refer to SHIFT BEZEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Center console tray (Refer to CENTER CONSOLE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
