Diagnostic Procedure

1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (AS-BUILT DATA USE) Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Repair the malfunction part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
