Resistance Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor connector. (See ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR/ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Measure the resistance between engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor terminals E and C.
