DTC B0052:11 (BODY CONTROL MODULE, US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE - WITHOUT SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE

System malfunction location	Passenger-side buckle switch circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module detects a short to ground in the passenger-side buckle switch circuit for a continuous 2 times. Preconditions The passenger-side seat belt is unfastened.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Passenger-side buckle switch connector or terminal malfunction Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module connector or terminal malfunction Passenger-side buckle switch malfunction Short to ground in passenger-side buckle switch signal circuit Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module malfunction Body control module (BCM) malfunction
