DTC P0480:00 (PCM, VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The PCM monitors the input voltage from the fan control module. If the voltage at the PCM terminal 2I remains low or high for 5 s, the PCM determines that the fan control circuit has a malfunction.

- Cooling fan relay malfunction
- Short to ground or open circuit in cooling fan relay secondary side power supply circuit
- F10 15 A fuse malfunction
- Short to ground in cooling fan relay primary side power supply circuit

- Fan control module connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in fan control module power supply circuit
- Short to power supply in fan control module power supply circuit
- Open circuit in fan control module power supply circuit
- Open circuit in fan control module ground circuit
- PCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in fan control module control circuit
- Short to ground in cooling fan relay control circuit
- Short to power supply in fan control module control circuit
- Short to power supply in cooling fan relay control circuit
