DTC U2300-54: Configuration Data Not Received From Body Control Module (BCM) (Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module): Outline

DTC U2300:54 (ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Configuration data not received from body control module (BCM)
Detection condition	The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module cannot receive the configuration data from the body control module (BCM).
Fail-safe	When the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module has not been configured. The swivel actuator is moved to the center. Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued. When the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module has already been configured. Control of the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) is continued. Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued.
Possible cause	NOTE: To correctly write the configuration data sent from the body control module (BCM) to the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module, 30 s or more have to be elapsed since the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on). DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM).
