Drive Selection Switch Inspection (Us)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the drive selection switch. (See DRIVE SELECTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  3. Measure the resistance between drive selection switch terminals B and C using a tester.

    RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    Switch condition Resistance (ohm)
    SPORT switch held at on Approx. 0
    OFF switch held at on Approx. 470
    any switch not pressed Approx. 2, 670
