DTC B1D01-13; Headlight (RH) Circuit Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Headlight (RH) circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module detected an open circuit in the headlight (RH) circuit during the headlight LO on control for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe
  • Control of the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) is continued.
  • Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued.
Possible cause
  • DTCs are stored in the front body control module (FBCM).
    • Headlight LO relay circuit malfunction
  • Front combination light (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module terminal H and front combination light (RH) terminal M
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module terminal H and front combination light (RH) terminal M
  • Front combination light (RH) malfunction
  • Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module malfunction
