| Detection condition |
- The retractable hardtop control module detects that the number of times the top lock switch operates exceeds the maximum.

| Fail-safe |
- Stops retractable hardtop operation and reverses rotation to unlock position
- Inhibits the open retractable hardtop operation.

| Possible cause |
- Open circuit in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 1G and top lock switch terminal A
- Open circuit in wiring harness between top lock switch terminal A and body ground
- Top lock switch malfunction
- Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
