| Detection condition |
- The retractable hardtop control module cannot detect a pulse signal from the rear roof link motor (RH) when the rear roof link motor operation starts.

- Stops retractable hardtop operation

| Possible cause |
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4Q and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4O and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4Q and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4R and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4Q and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4R and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4O and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D
- Line-to-line short circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D
- Rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B
- Rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B
- Rear roof link motor (RH) malfunction
- Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
