DTC B1D9C:23 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Rear roof link motor (RH) pulse input circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The retractable hardtop control module cannot detect a pulse signal from the rear roof link motor (RH) when the rear roof link motor operation starts.
Fail-safe	Stops retractable hardtop operation
Possible cause	Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4Q and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4O and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals: Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4Q and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4R and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4Q and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4R and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4O and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D Line-to-line short circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D Rear roof link motor (RH) terminal F and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B Rear roof link motor (RH) terminal D and rear roof link motor (RH) terminal B Rear roof link motor (RH) malfunction Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
