CAUTION:
- Performing the following procedures could cause an open circuit in the front ABS wheel speed-sensor wiring harness if it is pulled by mistake. Before servicing, disconnect the front ABS wheel-speed sensor and set it aside so that the wiring harness will not be pulled by mistake.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more.
- Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the propeller shaft.
- Disconnect the ground plate. (See GROUND PLATE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front crossmember component.
- Remove the front drive shaft (RH).
- Remove the bracket
- Remove the heat shield.
- f.
- Drain the transfer oil. (See TRANSFER OIL REPLACEMENT [C66MX-R] .)
- Remove in the order shown in the figure.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After the engine and transaxle warms up, inspect for oil leakage and transfer operation.
