DTC C0063-54: Yaw Rate Initial Setting For Vehicle Control Module (VCM) Not Implemented [Vehicle Control Module]: Outline

DTC C0063:54 (VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Yaw rate initial setting for vehicle control module (VCM) not implemented
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the yaw rate initial setting was not implemented for 50 s.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE: [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause
  • Malfunction in CAN communication line between vehicle control module (VCM) and Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module
  • Inappropriate Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module replacement procedure
  • Inappropriate body control module (BCM) replacement procedure
  • Yaw rate initial setting for vehicle control module (VCM) not implemented
  • Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module malfunction
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
