DTC U0428-86: Error Signal Received From Steering Angle Sensor [Adaptive Led Headlights Control Module]: Outline

DTC U0428:86 (ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Error signal received from steering angle sensor
Detection condition	The adaptive LED headlights control module received error signal from the steering angle sensor.
Fail-safe	Perform the following controls with the adaptive LED headlights turned on. Turn off glare-free high beam. Set wide-range low beam as basic light distribution. Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued.
Possible cause	Steering angle sensor malfunction Adaptive LED headlights control module malfunction
