DTC C0062:76 (DSC HU/Control Module) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY IF SAS CONTROL MODULE IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY Verify the SAS control module installation condition. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .) Is the installation condition normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Correctly install the SAS control module and perform the repair completion verification. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
2	INSPECT SAS CONTROL MODULE FOR MALFUNCTION Perform the DTC inspection for SAS control module. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 1	VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Start the engine and drive the vehicle at a vehicle speed exceeding 70 km/h {43 mph}. Gradually slow down and stop vehicle. Perform the DTC inspection for the DSC HU/Control Module. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Refer to the CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [(US)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/Control Module, then go to the next step. (See DSC HU/Control Module REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D. (US)] .)
Repair completion verification 1		No	Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
Repair completion verification 2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
