DTC B1142:12 (MAZDA EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE control module power supply circuit (IG1) malfunction
Detection condition	The Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE control module detects a short to power supply in the power supply circuit (IG1). Preconditions  The ignition switched off or ACC.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	IG1 relay No. 2 malfunction DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). Body control module (BCM) connector or terminal malfunction Short to power supply in body control module (BCM) IG1 relay circuit Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE control module connector or terminal malfunction Short to power supply in Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE control module IG1 relay circuit Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE control module malfunction
