DTC B10A2:09 (MAZDA EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	INSPECT SAS CONTROL MODULE FOR MALFUNCTION Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION LINE Perform an inspection in accordance with the multiplex communication system diagnostic procedure. Is the CAN communication line normal?	Yes	Replace the Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE control module and perform the repair completion verification. (See Mazda EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification.
Repair completion verification	VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
Repair completion verification		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
