DTC U300A:62 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

| 1 | INSPECT IG1 RELAY

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Replace the IG1 relay, then Go to Step 8. (See RELAY LOCATION .) |

| 2 | INSPECT IG1 RELAY CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
|
Yes | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between MAIN 200 A fuse and IG1 relay terminal D. If there is a common connector:
|
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 3 | INSPECT IG1 RELAY CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
|
Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between battery positive terminal and IG1 relay terminal D. If there is a common connector:
|

| 4 | INSPECT POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR CONDITION
|
Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the connector, then Go to Step 8. | ||
| 5 | INSPECT IG1 RELAY CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
|
Yes | Inspect the C/U IG1 15 A fuse.
|
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 6 | INSPECT IG1 RELAY CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY
|
Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between IG1 relay terminal C and power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1AD. If there is a common connector:
|

| 7 | INSPECT IG1 RELAY CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
|
Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Inspect the C/U IG1 15 A fuse.
|

| 8 | VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
|
Yes | Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
|
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 9 | VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
|
Yes | Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE] .) |
| No | DTC troubleshooting completed. | ||
