Front Accessory Socket Removal/Installation

WARNING:

Handling the air bag module improperly can accidentally deploy the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. Remove the selector lever knob. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts.
1. Select lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Front console upper panel (See FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Upper panel (without wireless charger (Qi)) (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Wireless charger (Qi) (with wireless charger (Qi)) (See WIRELESS CHARGER (QI) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Console-up (See CONSOLE-UP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9. Rear vent duct No. 3 (with rear vent duct) (See REAR VENT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
10. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
11. Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
12. Center lower panel (See CENTER LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole.

While pressing the cap tab in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure below using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, press the front accessory socket in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the cap tab from the front accessory socket.

Pull the front accessory socket in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below and remove it.

While pressing the cap tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure below, press the cap in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the cap tabs from the center lower panel.

Remove the cap.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
