DTC B1495-55: Configuration Data Unmatched With Foot-Motion Detection Unit [Power Liftgate (PLG) Control Module]: Notes

DTC B1495:55 [POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Configuration data unmatched with foot-motion detection unit
Detection condition
  • Configuration data of the power liftgate (PLG) control module and foot-motion detection unit are not matched.
Fail-safe
  • Stops the hands-free liftgate operation.
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the power liftgate (PLG) control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
  • DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster.
    • Instrument cluster configuration not implemented
    • Instrument cluster internal memory malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1C and foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1C and foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1C and foot-motion detection unit terminal 1C
  • Instrument cluster configuration data error
  • Foot-motion detection unit malfunction
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction
