DTC C1001-92: Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) Poor Field Of View [Forward Sensing Camera (FSC)]: Notes
DTC C1001:92 (FORWARD SENSING CAMERA) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE
| Description |
Forward sensing camera (FSC) poor field of view |
| Detection condition |
- Forward sensing camera (FSC) detects that its field of view is poor for a certain period of time.
- Poor field of view of the forward sensing camera (FSC) occurs due to various external and environmental factors.
|
| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits the lane departure warning system (LDWS).
- Inhibits the high beam control (HBC) system.
- Inhibits the smart city brake support [forward] (SCBS F).
|
| Possible cause |
- Windshield dirty
- Forward sensing camera (FSC) lens is dirty
- Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
- Driving in heavy rain, fog or snow, or driving towards the sun
- Driving on roads with no traffic lane lines or faded/patchy traffic lane lines
- Running vehicle on chassis dynamometer
NOTE:
- When running the vehicle on a chassis dynamometer even though the vehicle speed is high, DTCs may be detected because the amount of change in the images at the front of the vehicle shot by the forward sensing camera (FSC) is low.
