DTC P025D-00: Fuel Pump Control Module System: Result Of On-Board Diagnostic Test High Input

P025D-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Fuel pump control module system: Result of on-board diagnostic test high input
Detection condition
  • Result of on-board test cannot be received from fuel pump control module (voltage is too high).
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the PCM. (other than P025D:00) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN Y)] .)
  2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and fuel pump relay (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .)
  3. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump relay and fuel pump control module (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .)
  4. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump control module and PCM (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .)
  5. Fuel pump relay malfunction (Refer to RELAY INSPECTION in the service information.)
  6. Fuel pump control module malfunction (Refer to applicable FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
  7. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
