DTC P064A-00: Fuel Pump Control Module System: Correlation Error

P064A-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Fuel pump control module system: Correlation error
Detection condition	The difference between the rotation speed commanded by the fuel pump control module and the fuel pump unit motor speed exceeds the specification. When the fuel pump unit motor starts, the fuel pump control module cannot detect the induced voltage for the specified time.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump unit and fuel pump control module (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Fuel pump unit malfunction (Refer to applicable FUEL PUMP UNIT INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.) Fuel pump control module malfunction (Refer to applicable FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
