DTC U0131-00: Can Communication System: Communication Error To EPS Control Module [TCM]

System malfunction location	CAN communication system: Communication error to EPS control module
Detection condition	The TCM cannot receive the signal from the EPS control module. Preconditions Battery voltage: Specified value or more
Fail-safe	Inhibits learning control. Inhibits neutral idle control. Cancel the i-stop control.
Possible cause	CAN communication line malfunction between TCM and EPS control module NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Control valve body malfunction (TCM malfunction) (Refer to applicable CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EV6AX-EL] and/or CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6AX-EL] in the service information.)
