    • U2300:64
    • U3000:49
    • U3003:1C
    • U3003:9A
Fail-safe
  • Inhibits the i-stop control.
  • Regenerative braking control may be permitted depending on malfunction content.
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the electronically controlled brake unit. (See DTC TABLE [DSC] .)
    NOTE:
    • If the electronically controlled brake unit stores a DTC, the PCM stores the same DTC or similar.
    • If the PCM stores a DTC even though the electronically controlled brake unit does not store a DTC, clear the DTC as it was for a past malfunction, and then complete the repair.
  2. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN M) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
