DTC U0422-86: Check Sum Error Received From Body Control Module (BCM)

U0422-86: (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Check sum error received from body control module (BCM)
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the vehicle control module (VCM) received a check sum error from the body control module (BCM).
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VCM] .)
Possible cause	Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules. Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM] .) Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built-into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
